Tips for a Tooth-Friendly Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from Aleris Dental Center Team in Salem! We wish you a delightful holiday and grateful for the privilege of taking care of your dental health. We hope you will have a fun and safe celebration.

Focus on healthy meals this weekend and stay healthy. The holidays don’t have to be hard on your teeth.

Here are a few tips for Thanksgiving dinner:

  • Turkey is good for your teeth because of consists phosphorus.

  • Fibrous veggies are your dental friend. Thanksgiving food with high fiber content (such as sweet potatoes, pumpkin and broccoli) help clean your mouth as you eat because fiber stimulates saliva production and naturally scrubs your teeth as you chew.

  • Drink water instead of soda to keep your teeth healthy and mouth fresh.

  • Real cranberries can actually help your oral health.

  • Limit red vine that can stain your teeth.

  • Remember brush, teeth and floss your teeth after eating Thanksgiving dinner.

We are OPEN on Saturday, November 30th.

Our address is: 90 Lafayette St, Salem, MA 01970
